Breast Cancer Screening Debate
While all screening tests, including mammography, have both benefits and limitations, strong scientific evidence supports that screening annually after 40 is important.
RCA is in complete agreement with the Alberta Society of Radiologists, the Canadian Association of Radiologists, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and the American Cancer Society in that Breast Cancer Screening should continue annually after the age of 40.
